If you’re like us and you obsessively stalk Hailey Baldwin’s Instagram (it may or may not be because she’s recently been linked to Justin Bieber), you’ll notice that most of her feed includes photos of her in high-fashion shoots or just hanging out with friends (who may or may not be Bieber). That’s why when the 19-year-old model posted a photo yesterday praising a beauty product, it caught our attention.
What makes the post even better is that the product Baldwin is showing her love for might be in your makeup bag right now—the L’Oréal True Match Lumi Cushion:
In her caption, Baldwin says that she uses the Korean-beauty-inspired liquid-foundation cushion to get ready for fashion week. Since this is the first time we can recall Baldwin devoting an Instagram post exclusively to a beauty product, naturally we had to wonder if this means Baldwin will be making an appearance as L’Oréal’s newest spokesperson. Looks like the answer is no. According to the brand, Baldwin “is not a spokesmodel, but rather just posted and shared organically as a general fan of the brand.” We really can’t blame her there. The Lumi Cushion has been an editor fave since it came out; Allure beauty director Jenny Bailly says she always carries this compact in her bag for midday touchups. “It lets me tap on liquid foundation in a moving vehicle—that I’m not driving, of course.” And while Baldwin may not be a L’Oréal spokesperson for now, we think she would make a pretty good choice, if you catch our drift, L’Oréal.
